I agree, as much as they try to tout it as the best singing competition on TV, it's just not good anymore. It could come back if they can get the right judges, but this year's group is terrible.bigdaddy2003;1375662 wrote:I have a feeling this will be the last season.

Not sure race has anything to do with it. I think Chris Tucker's character (Ruby Rod?) in the film Fifth Element is the most obnoxious, irritating, annoying, "ruin the movie" character that I've seen in an otherwise decent film. Watched some of it last night, or was it two nights ago..who knows. Saw one performance and listened to the judges and the vote...she made it to hollywood. Just going through the 4 judges just seemed so boring and lifeless. Randy seemed bored out of his mind. The black dude with pink hair who tried to look like a woman was just plain wierd, and Mariah had nice cleavage but nothing to really say. 4 judges is prett pointless.
I think AI has run its course viewerwise. Imagine it will be around for a little bit longer as it still gets better ratings then anything else they get.

It will be the last season and will not be on the air for a few years...And then will come back with huge publicity with the original judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

I have also watched 5 seasons of this show and i love this show. This is the best show i ever watched. All the seasons i watched is awesome.

Wow. Flipping through channels and saw a group of like 5 "guys" signing a boyz 2 men song. One of the flamers was wearing high heals. They truly have jumped the shark.

Her group was horrible on Gotye "Somebody that I used to know"....but she was the only one to know the words......they changed their song just 2 hours before their performance.

Glad to see Holly make it through, she's very talented and a very good role model for other kids! Hopefully she'll get some more airtime tomorrow night.
