Maybe not if you believe I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

Why would she not stay in Hawaii with his family? Why would her parents not ask to meet their son's girlfriend while she was in Hawaii? It just doesnt add up.

Now I could see his family lying for him to protect him, but seems very very odd. I do not know if we will ever know the full truth, because ND and Te'o are doing everything they can do salvage whatever image they can.

You guys are right. He is the mastermind behind this and there is absolutely no other explanation possible. Any one who considers that there are other possibilities is dumb, or delusional, or retarded. Nothing else should even be considered.

No skype. No facetime. What college aged kids, or people separated by distances do not use this?

Aware of it (as were friends, family, teammates, the University) and did NOTHING as they benefited from all of the positive exposure? Yes.

The latter is what would piss people off and be a "fraud."

I have to laugh that Te'o being gullible is looked at as a completely delusional possibility. But the idea that Te'o, his family, his friends, the coaches, the team, and the University were all in on this to bring exposure to the team is not seen as crazy.

Honest question....let's say this plays out that he is gay and this was some cover up. Can he play in the NFL? Will players tolerate it? Does it drop him completely out of the draft?

So now it was a hoax that the entire, team, staff, university, family and friends were all in on? And NO ONE spilled the beans for all this time? Talk about unfathomable. I would think there would have been grumblings had that many people been involved. Somebody would have slipped up. I think your "scenario" is pretty outlandish.

So you cover up being gay and rob people of their hard earned money, prayers (whatever that's good for) and sympathy? He should at the very least be investigated by the police for fraud (donations in honor of his GF) .
