I just can't get a grasp on Flacco. He can throw for 180 or less one week and then throw for 300 the next. He out played Brady last year in the AFC title game, again earlier this season, and just out played Manning last weekend but neither Brady nor Manning ever have 180 yard games during the regular season. As a Ravens' fan he is definitely a roller coaster QB for me but I can't complain about his post season play overall.

The Patriots defense is better than last year and has improved since the beginning of the season. I think Flacco will have at least 1 int.
Lloyd is a bigger part of the offense now that he has a report with Brady. I think it'll be very hard for Baltimore to cover Welker, Hernandez, and Lloyd, especially if Woodhead and Vareen line up as WR and keep up with the hurry up style. They also have to stop the patriots run game too. Houston has a good defense and NE tore them apart. Baltimore doesn't have anyone as good as Watt and NE shut him down.

NE is going to have to get a pass rush on Flacco. If they don't, it will be a shootout. McKinnie & Oher played the games of their lives against Denver. Von Miller was pretty much a non-factor in the pass rush.

I realize Watt is a beast and he was pretty much a non factor but Ngata, Suggs, Lewis, Ellerbe, Arthur Jones, Kruger, and McPhee aren't exactly chumps and I can't see all of them being shut down.

Zero turnovers last time they played and 2 sacks. Oh yeah there's nothing wrong with being optimistic if you are a Pats' fan. I'm stoked as well. One of the things the Patriots worked on in the offseason, that Brady was most excited about, was their "4 minute drill." This is their ability to milk a lead late in the game with their rushing attack. This is one of the nuances that they haven't had in their arsenal in recent pasts.
In the first meeting, Baltimore held them to something like 77 yards rushing. Since then they are averaging about 140/ypg rushing. Baltimore's run defense has gotten worse. If New Engalnd gets a lead, it won't be the same story (Cundiff missed FG) in the end.
