Thanks for equating a fad from the 80s as "old school". Now please wheel me back to my room.

They ended up being banned at ours as well. I think they said there were safety issues with them, but I don't really recall.

Did anyone do the Kriss Kross and wear their pants backwards? I didn't do that, but I remember a few people who did. Or what about MC Hammer's skidz? Those were pretty awesome, too.

They have to be. I saw them right beside the Cargo Pants in the store last decade.

Bowl cuts. Airwalks. Those are the biggest that I can remember.
I rocked the "undercut" bowl cut. Shaved on sides, long on top.

Also had the high fade with lightening bolts on the side. Shit was cashhh!

Had a brief JNCO jeans stage in junior high, glad I ditched that.

We called that the "skater cut." And yes, I had one of those, too. My mom was of the opinion that hair always grows back, so do whatever you want. This resulted in my having way too many terrible haircuts.

Cutting slits on the bottom of jeans in junior high/early high school...I don't think people do this much today in school, but I guess I'm not sure.

Like a 3-4" long slit at the bottom on the inner part of the bottom of the leg, and just a 1-2" cut on the outside part.

With the tight jeans I'm seeing these days, I'm pretty sure I'd NEED them cut like that just to fit my feet through them.

Rocked a gold chain necklace in middle school.

Head-to-toe Tommy outfits, capped with the dark navy carpenter jeans complete with the Hilfiger red-and-white "hammer loop" on the side of the leg.

Paul Walker flip bangs.

Miami Dolphins and Phoenix Suns Starter jackets (huge Sir Charles fan in the '90s)

Abercrombie "Apostle" sandles with jeans.

Sun In hair lightener.

Tommy Hilfiger "carpenter" jeans were the hot shit when I was in middle school.

I remember telling my mom I wanted them and she was like "ZOMG they are $65!!"

I actually see these surprisingly often. Usually from a trashy family.
When I was in 4th or 5th grade, EVERYONE was eating warheads. Fuck those things.

Owned a couple Ed Hardy shirts in recent years. One even had rhinestones.

Also, in middle school, I wore the big Jnco jeans.
Don't feel bad, Kevin James still wears those hats.
