When I lived overseas in Italy, Brook Jacoby and Kelly Gruber came to Aviano AFB and gave a clinic. My father and I got to the baseball field pretty early when nobody was there, and he started to give me some BP. Jacoby and Gruber showed up early as well, and ended up helping me on my swing until other people showed up for the clinic. It was pretty cool to have pretty much personal lessons from two major league all stars. I got both their autographs, but had Brook sign my Tribe hat.

I'll award that story as actually cool. About when was this....late in their careers or just after retirement? Gruber had a monster year for the Jays.

It was sometime around 1996 or 97. Both of them had retired by then. Gruber was pretty intense too. Without hesitation he walked to the field and took over our BP. He gave my father shit for throwing me shitty pitches lol.

Roy Halladay is getting beat up by the Marlins. 9 ER in 2.1 innings and was just pulled. ERA up to 8.13 on the season. Who was it that argued he the Phillies' best pitcher still? Az?

just looked at his line, 9 ER on 4 hits.

Dunn will break up his perfect game with a reached base via strikeout.

@MLB
Roy Halladay to undergo surgery on right shoulder for bone spurs, partially torn rotator cuff and frayed labrum. No timetable for return.

Damn, might be the end of his career. He said he wouldn't come back unless he is as dominant as he once was.

Halladay says the docs told him itll turn the clock back 2 or 3 years for him.

Blue Jays 3
Rays 3

start of the 5th inning.

Yes, I'm updating this random game because I win $432 if the Blue jays win and they collectively score more than 7 (so as long as the BJ's win but not by the score of 4-3).

I'm watching this game very closely lol

Haha I have it on mute on my computer..I didn't see who it was.

4-3 on a sac fly. Now just hit a grand slam and call it a night.

You may have a problem if you're betting Toronto Tampa.
