Manny Acta talking about how much easier it is to be a manager in the AL with the DH. Said you basically just eat seeds and manage the pitching staff.

Robin Ventura also said it's very easy with the DH.

The fact that that's all he did is probably why he's no longer employed.

No, it definitely was what Acta did with the tribe.

I'm sure he was trying to use hyperbole, but he really wasn't.

Justin Upton is off to a great start. Its too bad for him that BJ and Heyward are never on base.

everyday lineup has BJ hitting 5th, so it will be kind of difficult for him to be on base when Justin bats. Heyward hasn't been very good in front of him though.

Joe Nathan with the worst pitch to ever be called a strike in the history of baseball and he gets the K and save because of it. Shoul dhave been ball 4 and 2 on 2 outs for Tampa. Wow was that bad.

Michael Saunders(Team Canada MVP) just made a great catch, but drilled the wall. Looks like it's a collar bone thing.

Including the playoffs, the Giants have now won 16 straight games started by Barry Zito.

2/3's of the way to Medlen's streak. Not bad.

At least the ump owned up to making the mistake, but that was horrid.

I'll post this in here since it's baseball related even though it has nothing to do with the 2013 season. I got to meet and have a chat with Jose Canseco tonight. Super nice guy, was pretty normal for most of the conversation, not nearly as all out insane as he is on twitter. He did end the conversation talking about how we have the technology to clone humans but the government won't allow it. Even so, there are clones walking amongst us.

And yes, I realize I'm smiling like a sex offender.

That's not my high face. Jose is pretty anti-marijuana, as well.
