We know two players don't make the playoffs, but when you use those excuses as to why the CBJ beat them, then I lol.

Columbus won because Detroit has no sustained offense for 60 minutes right now

Ovie woke the fuck up today, with a hat trick. Caps are playing a lot better then a few weeks ago. Mainly because the d and goaltending have improved a lot

The cup finals better be Boston and Chicago. Easily the two best teams right now.

What's the record for not losing a regulation game? Chicago is ridiculous.

35 games, set by the 1979-80 Flyers. They had 25 wins and 10 ties. Chicago with a ways to go to get to that ridiculous mark, but the way they're winning they might have an outside shot...

Damn - yeah way to soon to bring up the record ha. You think they'll crumble if they lose one? That would be pretty crazy if one loss sent them into a tailspin.

I still hope it's an original 6 final between them and Boston

Here's Milbury going off on how terrible Ovie has been. I love when the Capitals suck, makes it cheaper for me to go to games.

Did anyone hear Eddie Olcyzk going off because Nail Yakupov avoided a hit? I mean I know I can be a homer but wow

B'Hawks win again tonight. 17-0-3, 37 out of a possible 40 points so far this year. They could put their AHLers out there for the rest of the season and still make the playoffs ... and the season isn't yet half over.

But they still have playoff series to deal with, and injuries as well. I remember several years ago when the Blues won the President's Trophy and promptly got drummed out in the playoffs. The Kings showed everyone last year that playing well and riding a hot goaltender come playoff time can lead to great things. And another thing to remember, probably the best thing to come out of the stoppage is that teams are only playing conference opponents right now. The Cup Finals will feature two teams that haven't played each other in over a year, and I think that's a good thing.

Playoff success is always about riding a hot goaltender.

I just bought my All-You-Can-Eat/Drink tickets to CBJs at Preds in March. It'll be my first NHL game.

Why do you think it would send them into a tailspin?

Detroit is going to be rocking on Sunday for that game. I will say this, I would be very shocked if anyone beats them for the Cup
