I think the playoffs could be amped up MORE this year with the players being more fresh and maybe even less injuries coming into it.

I'm not doing a "bit".

Tim Thomas said he's taking the 12-13 season off. He didn't say he's taking part of the season off and then re-evaluate. Why do you keep trying to convince me that someone is going to trade for him and eat his salary? He's going to change his mind and play because it's a 48 game season? What evidence do you have that no one else in the world has that says Tom Thomas is open to playing this season? Please enlighten me. He's enjoying his time off and has no plans to return to hockey now that the lockout is over.

I'lll await your facts on the matter.

When did i say he'd play? I didn't. I said a team would trade for him. I'll wait for your facts where I said he would. A team that picks him up only loses out on 48 games from him, some players miss more time from injury. But I'll wait, Jim.

Why would anyone eat his salary? No one would unless it was a salary dump and they packaged him with someone like Seguin, and that's not happening. Bruins are stuck with him and his salary.

I know some fans are turned off this season due to the lock out, but I feel just as excited as usual. Can't wait to hear Chelsea Dagger All season long!

I don't count NHL Network as a National TV game.

Either way seems oddly high for both teams. I think the Pens had that many last year in a full season.

Hoping to get tickets for this weekends ahl out door classic at Hershey park stadium. Hershey bears play the pens ahl team. I drove by the stadium today and it looks pretty sweet

Gotta sell the league as much as possible now. So pimp out your big guns like the NBA does. Bought tickets for Red Wings/Wild next Friday. Pretty psyched
