I was there ... scalped tickets with a bunch of friends, best $600 I ever spent. Upper deck, but low (maybe 4th row), 30 yard line on the side of the field of "the flag." So many Miami fans were talking smack throughout the bowl parties, was so fun walking out of Sun Devil Stadium with a National Title. Great memory!
I also remember a bar in Tempe where all the girls dress up as slutty librarians haha.

There is a lot of negative things you can say about maurice clarett, but I will always remember him as the guy who ran down Sean Taylor and got the ball back. That play won us the championship imo

Every time I read something like this about the game, I think two things...
First, how happy I was that the Buckeyes won the national championship. That team was so much fun to watch and had so many great players.
Second, I'd like to sit Sharpe, Vilma, Winslow, and the rest of those Miami whiners down and show them film of several key no-calls that sent that game to OT. Sharpe should've been called for the blatant hold/PI on 3rd down during OSU's last drive in regulation, where Gamble actually caught the ball but it was ruled incomplete. It would have resulted in a first down and OSU would have ran out the clock and won the game since Miami was out of timeouts. How about AJ Hawk being blocked in the back directly in front of an official on Parrish's punt return that set Miami up to tie the game at 17-17 to force OT? Sievers never gets a chance to kick that FG if the call is made. Those guys like to lay all the blame on Terry Porter (who made the right call) and claim that they didn't actually lose that game, yet no one ever mentions the fact that the damn game was over in regulation if Miami wasn't gifted a chance to extend the game.
The Buckeyes were the better team on that night. They won the game, and deserved the championship. It still pisses me off to this day when Miami players and coaches, and anyone else, try to act like the Buckeyes didn't win that game. Excuses are for losers, and on that night, the Canes were losers and that will never change.

I watched the game with former OSU LB Glen Cobb. He was very, very happy.

I like how you have a bible verse as your signature, yet talking about that in your post. Classy.Speedofsand;1360027 wrote:How does durkie's **** taste? You have to take it out of your mouth to tell him or does he understand you mumbling?
Secondly, do they not have Florida Gators forums like this somewhere on the internet? Why not go talk with them?

I just changed my sig today. Its not like they haven't asked me the same question 500 times about Teebow. So I was sinking to their level for once. Secondly, yes. But I'm skilled enough to post on more than one internet forum when I want to. You mad?Benny The Jet;1360950 wrote:I like how you have a bible verse as your signature, yet talking about that in your post. Classy.

Well, hopefully thread-banning works, since I've heard it's been inconsistent. Just to tone down the Flo-billy stupidity.
