Women Conceal and Carry Weapon</SPAN>

I was out looking for a Conceal and Carry weapon for my wife and daughter (she lives in Chicago). She is getting a weapon for her apartment and something to put in her bug out bag. We don't care about Chicago laws, we care about safety/ self protection and our 2nd Amendment rights</SPAN>

After some research and a fan of Sig this is a great, easy and dependable weapon for a woman to carry and use. I like it also and may carry it sometimes.</SPAN>

Sig P238 we would get it without the laser </SPAN>

Actually, I really like the looks of this one but it looks pretty small. Not sure it would be comfortable in my hand.



I am going gun browsing/shopping tomorrow morning with my brother-in-law. We are going to be taking a CCW course together at some point in the next couple months.

My girlfriend carries this:

It is a great size for her. There are times I do not wish to carry my larger SR9c, and will just put the 380 in my pocket instead.

P238 is a small weapon but prefect for a woman
It was a small for my hands also but to carry it was light weigth, small and eazy to carry. I like the feel and operation of the weapon

Look at the Sig P220 .45 Carry that what I have

However it is a heavy to carry around, great for home protection and shooting
I still like it alot but have been looking for something a little smaller to carry all the time.

Note P290, P938, P228 I was not impressed with ... Still very nice but just didn't like them as much as the P238

You can own weapon in Chicago just can't carry or transport then and you have to register them and take training classes and some other shit, pl,us pay a additional $25.00 tax per year for every weapon..

So why would you say you dont care about the Law? You made it sound like there was something illegal going on but you didnt care because the 2nd ammendment says you can own a gun lol

Even if he carries it, why wouldn't one hope that he never has to so much as take it out, thus making its presence known?

If Belly and or the Belly family never encounters what is perceived as danger at the hands of another human being or animal, it would seem that there would be no reason for it to bite him in the ass. Wouldn't a person desire a lack of such an encounter for his fellow man?

If a man carries a gun, and he never has a reason to use it, he never has any reason to make it known that he carries a gun.

If, indeed, someone does steal it, then why would you hope for that? Also, if that does happen, he could just not report it. Still might not bite him in the ass except for being out some money.

It's not responsible to break a cities gun law.

One can indeed handle something responsibly without breaking the law if the law is unfair (which may or may not be up for discussion).

If there was a law against eating steak because too many babies choke on it (dumb parents), does that mean that an adult cannot responsibly enjoy steak?

If the action itself can be carried out responsibly in a legal vacuum, then yes, an action can be carried out responsibly, regardless of law.

Now, whether or not it is ETHICAL is another matter, and that's a fair point of contention.

Which my daughter will apply for however if she does not get it then she will still illegally have a weapon in her apartment for safety reason. She has no intention at this time to be carrying the weapon. She has two knifes (trained by dad for usage),strong right cross and kick combo. However if something where to happen, where she has to get out of Chicago, she will have the pistol ready to protect herself.

I will never pull my weapon unless I'm prepared to use it in a deadly manner and it is the only opinion for my safety and others.

Will I carry my weapon in Chicago ... at this present time ?

I speed, it's against the law, and it bites me in the ass from time to time. I was more saying that it's a bad idea. Honestly, how often are women attacked on the streets of Chicago? What're the chances she fires off her gun even if she is attacked? I say there is a better chance of her getting attacked and getting the gun stolen than her fending off an attacker.

I'll now wait for belly to say his daughter is too tough and smart to be overpowered.
