By native American, do they mean an American Indian? That's a terrible description that's trying to be PC but gives a fucked up description instead. Kind of like the USA newspapers that reported about the french riots that started when two "African american" teens were killed. Uh, they're french--they're just black, not African American.

Ha, sorry. The whole "Native American" thing annoys me enough as is, but when we use it to refer to people who aren't even born in the Americas. . . It seems beyond ludicrous and really sets me off. This whole reworking of our language so as not to offend--even if what we're saying is nonsensical - - strikes me as doubleplusungood.

Oh I agree. It just caught my attention.

Also, nonsensical words from books will catch my attention as well if I've read the book. Nice! :D
