Can I just say f*** the BCS. I'm in my early 20's and these damn rules are ruining these amazing bowls I grew up with. These last two Orange Bowl's have sucked and no one is there tonight. Also why not put a top 10 team in the Rose Bowl, good god I didn't wanna watch unranked Wisconsin, I wanted to watch say Stanford vs Georgia instead

Agree, I did not want to watch the B1G 6th place (actually tied for 5th with Northwestern) play in a BCS Bowl. Does the Rose Bowl have to take an unranked team? Especially a team that shouldn't have even been playing for the B1G title (finished 3rd in their division). It was surprisingly a much more competitive game than I thought it would be, I don't know how Stanford beat Oregon, they're very physical but not very fast.Classyposter58;1355461 wrote:Can I just say f*** the BCS. Agree the Orange Bowl has been awful for the past several years
As for Wisconsin being there.. That's on us. They shouldn't have been there, but teams who finished better (Ohio State, Penn State) were ineligible. Nothing the BCS can do when that happens

They controlled the ball for almost 40 minutes in that game and shut down Barner0311sdp;1355481 wrote:Agree, I did not want to watch the B1G 6th place (actually tied for 5th with Northwestern) play in a BCS Bowl. Just like NIU being in the Orange Bowl was on the Big 10. Nothing the BCS can do there, either.jordo212000;1355496 wrote:Agree the Orange Bowl has been awful for the past several years

I was hoping NIU would be able to put up a fight but it was clear they just were not close to being talented enough to compete. FSU wins that game 11 out of every 10 times they played.
Big ten was down this year as everyone knew going into the bowl season and I was not surprised at their record. Because they are the big ten, a bcs power conference, they are gonna get alot of big bowl bids and this year were outmatched and I think underdogs in all but 1 maybe?
Early on I thought the rose bowl was gonna be a rout but WIsky turned it up a bit.
Oh well.....

Wait a minute here. You say you hate the rules that are ruining these amazing bowls you grew up with, yet want the rule to change that would have matched up two top ten teams in the Rose bowl with Stanford and Georgia.
WHich way do you want it?

I like Teddy Bridgewater, but UF should have no problem with the Cards.

I don't see why UF is a 14 pt favorite. UL is good, UF struggled a few times with avg teams. Charlie is an awesome coach, I've always been a huge fan of him. I expect a one score game, 30-24 Gators.

I'd guess if the Rose Bowl were played in Cleveland it might be close to inverted.

SEC! SEC!
Where is the defense?
That was way too easy.
The FB was wide open in the flat.

UL better continue to score TD's. UF will start running it straight down their throats sooner or later.

Yeah, UL looks great thus far offensively. I'm just saying their D isn't any good and Florida isn't going to be their typical offensively-challenged selves.
