i guess I'm not sure how its not an assumption unless you're involved or privy to inside information down there. I've certainly never heard of someone drugged as "dead"

Thank you, didn't think I'd have to explain it ha.

If you read their tweets from August it's obvious what they're talking about in the video.

This

Anyone who has read the tweets would understand they refer to these girls as dead bodies. I believe one tweet said "saw my first dead body tonight"

Sure.. But I have a hard time believing that's their code especially since no one else was up on it. You're making it sound like its their rape code

That's why it seems they have used the term before. None of them or the people talking on twitter were acting as if they thought she was actually dead. They seemed to know it meant something else which would mean they have used the term for this before.

Are you suggesting the two football players were having sex with a dead person?

This is it. It's been stated numerous times that no one was "dead," it actually is a "code" or "term" the "Rape Crew" uses.

I'm saying it got picked up bc of what this dumbass said. The tweets are nearlyl word for word what he was talking about .. Even the "wang in the butt" that someone else tweeted. To me it looks like people saw the video and were talking about it. Not that these kids have an underground code for rape.

Ok you are correct its an assumption I guess since they haven't actually come out and say it's their code but really you don't think that it is code, that is if you actually read all the tweets about the "dead girl"? I am also pretty sure wang in the butt means exactly that too LOL.

Again.. If you don't believe it is code, you have to believe they were actually having sex with a dead person. You also have to disregard all of the people asking about what would happen if she woke up.

It's clear dead = incapacitated

I'm suggesting it caught on after what was said, and there's not a universal term for drugged women. The same reason other kids were tweeting what this dumbass said in the video

There's no evidence that "dead" is their code for rape. That said, it's painfully obvious that in this particular case/video, "dead" refers to the victim being intoxicated to the point of unconsciousness..

Actually, if I remember right, didn't that Cody kid come out and say that was the term for the girls they had raped? I think it's rather obvious they all are aware what the term "dead" means.

Or it could be that this wasn't their first time and that it was the reason they dubbed themselves the "Rape Crew" but ok

No but Cody did repeat a lot of what was said in the video. Hence where this "dead girl" came from.

I just don't get how one couldn't think that it was their code for a person in that condition after all that has come out?

I guess we can agree to disagree on the "code" however I don't think there is any disagreeing that this "dead" girl was raped

It's definitely a code for a person in that condition. I don't think anyone is debating that.

I think the question is whether or not it's the term used for a rape victim. They could call anyone that is passed out drunk a "dead body" and not necessarily save that term specifically for rape victims.

I may be mistaken, but I think that's the point Zwick is making here.
