Husband has to work. :( My 16 year old son is having some friends over so I'll most likely spend it in my bedroom with a bottle of wine watching tv.

I spend a hundred bucks every time I go out in Chicago, so im not too pissed off about the price. So damn expensive in this city.
Yea, it's borderline crazy how much you'll spend on booze in the night. Round of beers, round of shots and now you're easily $60+, barely buzzed. I've never done the Hard Rock. Sounds like a good time.

I second this (obviously), but I would say have a destination in mind. You don't want to be bar hopping on NYE in this city. You'll just get frustrated with the ridiculous cover charges.

We got a $2200 / night rooftop suite at the new Cosmo in Vegas. Hired Tommy James & the Shondells to play for about 10 couples and friends. Will have our own blackjack and craps games with dealers in the suite. Private champagne fountain and seafood buffet goes all night.

we do this every year and its gotten a little repetitive but some of my froends like it so I keep up the tradition.
