I know that Jehovah's Witnesses can't have blood transfusions. Whenever a kid comes to our hospital that needs one, a judge has to grant temporary guardianship to a doctor in order for the decision to be made to give them blood. The parents are okay with that way, but that have a rule that says the parents themselves can't decide to get a transfusion.
