I've seen a bald eagle dive out of the sky so fast it sounded like an airplane. He spread his wings like air brakes and picked a fish right off the top of the lake about 50 ft from my boat. It was incredible. Only other thing like that I've seen is a hawk swooped in and snatched a small snake out the grass while I was riding a lawnmower.
