Lol. Robby had a good ride with RCR and he couldn't do anything then. He's a terrible NASCAR driver.

He's a good driver in general. But with stock cars, he blows donkey ass. He will do fine sticking to Indycar or Baja

Who is a better stock car driver, R Gordon or J Montoya? All tracks considered and not just road tracks.

I seem to remember a few years ago R Gordon going to Eldora and driving in Tony's prelude for the first time and picked up late models fairly quickly?
Thinking his first couple laps were slow with maybe a spin or kissing the wall but by the end Robby was one of the faster guys. Thought Tony has given Robby compliments in the past about being a heck of a driver too.

But I know what ya mean, his most recent success has been in baja.



edit- Ya think any chance R Gordon would get picked up for a road race like Boris Said?

JPM IMO. Neither are great by any means though, obviously.

Agreed. Think you have to go with JPM. Robby had what, at least 10 years over JPM in NASCAR and JPM has more Top 5's and Top 10's over Robby.

Slow day at work being the last day before the holiday (and then 3/4 of us are using vacation for the remainder and not coming back til 1/2/13), I need something to do until 2:30 lol

If he's willing to do that, you know teams will be calling

Out of work recovering from surgery. Lol

I definitely see him running the road courses since he loves them so much. One of the lower tier teams would definitely pick him up.

Marcos Ambrose will join Mike Shank at Daytona in a couple weeks for Rolex24 testing. He is subbing for Ozz Negri, who has a leg injury. Ozz will return in time for the 24.
I can't wait to see Marcos in a prototype. He is going to be a blurrr.

Mike Waltrip & Bowyer will be in Kauffman's Ferrari 458 Italia again in the Rolex24.

Jamie McMurray (#1) is here this weekend for Daytona KartWeek. So are 2000 other kart racers. 3 tracks: 1/5th mile dirt oval (60mph), 7/8 mile mini road course (75mph), and 3.56 mile super speedway road course (150mph).

Yep, Billy Johnson will be coaching him for the road courses. Travis has the talent. He is beat up like Evel Knievel and needs to do something safe. I met him last year when he drove Waltrip's Ferrari and he had a bad limp.
Roush guys are here for Rolex testing and have 4 different Roush Stage 3 Mustangs this weekend for rentals. Can you say donuts on the beach?
