How do we know the guns weren't locked and he still got them?? Have they said that. If not, seems unfair to start blaming this mother like she helped him. She was killed brutally like the rest.

Here is what you're saying:

Man is speeding, going about 90 on a 65 MPH highway, heading northbound.

Another man is highly intoxicated driving southbound on the adjacent highway and notices the man speeding; can't take his eyes off him. Crashes and kills 30 people including himself. Not only that, one of the 30 people is the man going 90 in a 65, as one of the cars veered off onto the other highway and hit him head on.

You're saying the man speeding deserves a lot of the blame. You're saying he was properly and rightfully slain in this hypothetical situation.

It's pure insanity what you are trying to say.

Jesus what a terrible analogy lol.

You don't need an analogy anyway. Nancy Lanza had a child that was mentally unstable. Nancy Lanza trained that child to use high powered weaponry that she also kept in the house with him. You either think that's gross negligence or you don't. Not a difficult question.

The man going 90 inthe opposite direction would already have been past the point of where the accident would happend.... when the accident happened.

Just sayin...

Did Ms. Lanza know the child was "Mentally Unstable" or did she know he had Asperger's disease? I can't find anywhere that reports she was aware he was an unstable child mentally. Can you help me find that?

Like I said earlier...READ THE ARTICLE - http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.1221505 - Absolutely no question this woman knew her son was very unstable and capable of extreme violence.

Exactly. The New York Daily News article that was posted above seemed to have an agenda in trying uncover the "Signs of a Killer." Tabloid material. That's the type of newspaper that publication is, though. Tiernan might as well have posted a story from the Daily Planet from Superman.

We have heard that Adam Lanza was struggling emotionally, and that he may have tried to hurt himself a couple of times with a burning cigarette. Those are not signs of a mass murderer or a psycho. They are indicators of somebody suffering from major depression, and that is probably what Nancy Lanza meant by saying, if she ever did in fact say this, "I feel like I am losing him." She, in all likelihood, did not mean, "I feel like Adam is going to kill me."

Again, unless a map of the school was uncovered in the kid's bedroom with "Plan to Shoot Up School" written on it in red crayon, there would have been no way Nancy Lanza could have seen anything like this coming. No way. Nobody would.

I see the reporter use words like deteriorating mentle state and a friend said that the boy had been "troubled". It would be helpful to find an affirmation of a belief that the boy was mentally unstable from mom's perspective before a conclusion is drawn about her directly.

Parents are eternally optimistic and tend to believe better than they should about their children. I won't blame her without her stating the he was mentally unstable. Even then it's important to know when she came to that conclusion.

from the article
“She was very much involved in his life. She tried to get as much help for him as she possibly could,” he said. “She didn’t work at the school. She gave all her time to him.”"As he got older it got harder for her — getting him into regular society, living on his own, having a regular job.
Despite Adam’s struggles, the brothers said they could never have imagined such evil was boiling inside of him.
“She wanted him to succeed in life. There was never any impression that he was violent or had outbursts,” John Tambascio said.

Yeah, it's a fail all around. I really don't know why Tiernan is on such a mission to tear this lady down. The Lanza mother, who was murdered, appeared by all accounts to have been an excellent mother, with a giving heart and unconditional love for her child. She should be praised for the good person she was in life.

I don't know if she was a good person or not. It seems like they will interview anyone who wants to talk and they are getting a lot of different stories.

Articles saying they weren't able to recover any data.

You would think they might still be able to get some online data from other sources.

On a mission? I'm only stating opinions any person that is capable of putting together cognitive clues and making educated conclusions would do, which it appears you are totally incapable of doing.

She was getting a lot of money from the father - she could have done more, maybe not keep guns in the fucking house of a kid who self mutilates! Give me a break, this woman deserves zero praise. Her son was a piece of shit coward. What kind of help was she getting him? I'd like to see some details on that. If you know your kid is a mental nut, don't make firearms accessible to him. Fuck this woman and her son.

I'm guessing more will come out regarding Lanza's mental state.

His brother was interviewed for hours and stated Adam had a "personality disorder."

Hey Rec League here is a portrait of a mother who should be put on a pedastal - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2249185/Nancy-Lanza-Did-paranoid-gun-crazed-mother-trigger-Sandy-Hook-Connecticut-killing-spree.html

The Dad and older brother are just as guilty...maybe more so in some ways, at least Mom had the balls to hang in there with the crazy kid...Dad and big Bro just washed their hands of it and walked away. Dad's answer was to throw money at Mom just to shut her up so he could go off and have more kids. The DNA is the same pal and someone needs to be checking on that bunch.

Another tabloid, huh? Lol. Not reading it.

I will wait for a real investigation to take place. One that involves, you know, actual detectives and police.

This may be true but it also appears to be true that she was a survivalist, paranoid, loon who was grossly negligent causing a pretty obvious and foreseeable risk to society.

All truth or not, it sheds some light on the situation. It's just food for thought.
