First off the producer obviously knew he was going to say that imo...it looks like he wants to crack a smile/smirk because he knows its contriversial and stupid. Ratings grab by espn.

You really think a white guy wouldn't get hanged over this comment? Just look what happened to Imus and his "Nappy headed" comment. He was fired, sued, and raped pubicly for a comment that was clearly a joke. Deadspin says that First Take's producers included Parker's comments in the afternoon re-airing. Looks like more people might be in trouble than just Parker

I feel like he said what they brought him there to say. im quite sure they had a rehersal and went over the questions and the answers just like they do everyday...they probably asked stephen a to make those comments and he refused...so they went and found another black guy who would. i find it hard to beleive that a channel as big as espn would do that segment not know what he was going to say. they say stupid stuff on that show everyday that i doubt they believe half of it. all for ratings imo but the backlash was more than expectedjordo212000;1342760 wrote:Deadspin says that First Take's producers included Parker's comments in the afternoon re-airing. Read a tweet earlier that Parker said his critics are uneducated and silly. What a moron. I hope he keeps talking so he blackballs himself from ever being hired again in his field.
