Every program is dirty. It obviously happens at the top programs, and I've witnessed it happening at the worst programs. All depends on who the NCAA feels like going after.

I've never seen players get paid under the table but they do often get free food and free drinks at local Columbus establishments.

When I worked at Marcos a few years back we did a large order for all the "good" prisoners, and Clarett was on the list. He ordered a large 3 topping and 2 dozen chicken wings. Irrelevant info, the cool part is I got to send pizza to Mo while he was in prison. I held on to his order form. Probably no value, but something cool to have.
In my opinion the biggest waste of talent we've seen in a long time. He was special.

I knew a guy who worked for OSU's football team, he said boosters and big name supporters would slide money to players after games all the time. Probably happens all over. Columbus, Ohio - A warrant was out for the girlfriend of former Ohio State Unviersity football player Maurice Clarett, for allegedly assaulting him.
Police were looking for 30 year old <NOBR>Ashley Evans</NOBR>.
On Saturday, Franklin county sherriff's deputies were called to their home.
Police say Clarett claimed Evans punched and bit him.
She then reportedly got in her car and drove away.
Police charged her with domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanor crimes.

The guy just recently said he was changing his life around and alot of people around town winked and said, "sure you are Mo...." and its shit like this that lets them think they are right whether they are or not.
I personally said I hoped he did turn it around but knew he was out of strikes in the public eye.
