Mo Clarett catching the guy from behind and stripping the ball is maybe the single greates play in CFB history. That one play completely changed the entire momentum of that game.
Alabama CB did that to Miami in the 1992 or 1993 National Championship Game....it was better IMO.
The OSU/Miami game has to be way up there.

I didn't realize you are from Coldwater.thavoice;1342047 wrote:Probably one of the best I have ever watched in person was our HS football team in the playoffs against a bid mean ole private school. Our school was down by 21 points twice in that game, 28-7 and 42-21 only to win in triple OT 59-52. A close second would be the finals that year when they beat a nationally ranked team with 4-5 DI recruits, after being down by two touchdowns and using a few trick plays, 28-27 on a blocked EP with less than a minute to go win the title.
Best I played in.....probably a state finals game scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win.
Best steelers game I have attended......quite a few of them. Memorable is beating the ravens for the SB, but the most exciting may have been the big comeback against the browns in the playoffs. That is probably the most memorable one.
Honorable mention as they werent near and dear to my heart.....NCCAA (National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association). It was hosted by Celina Ohio for a few years. IN 2002 it was Bethel vs Faulkner in the finals. Bethel has to win twice. IN the first game they were down 7-8 runs going into the last two innings, and won. In the second game they were down by 4 runs in the last inning to beat Faulkner
I would put the DSJ/Coldwater game from a few years ago pretty high on the list.

Personally the greatest game I've ever watched was 2006 Rose Bowl, every big player went off in that game and Vince Young played ridiculously good.
Best game I've ever attended, 2007 D4 State Championship between Coldwater and Cardinal Mooney. Can't believe that team with McCarthy, Beachum, Zordich and Simon lost to any D4 school

2002 BCS Championship - Ohio State 31, Miami 24 (2 OT)
2005 Rose Bowl - Texas 41, USC 38
... those two stick out.

1997 FSU at Florida. Teams had a rumble before kickoff, FSU was unbeaten and #1, score went back and forth all game, Gators won 32-29 and knocked the noles out of the national title game. I was in the 4th row. Our celebration was the greatest ever too.

This was actually one of my answers. I was at the game, and as much as it sucks, I can say I was apart of CFB history.believer;1342172 wrote:

Lakers vs Suns, 2006 NBA Playoffs, Game 4. Kobe hits a buzzer beat to send it to OT, then a buzzer beat in OT to win it. Freaking crazy.
Michigan vs undefeated Penn State. Henne to Manningham.
Denard Robinson beats Notre Dame.. 2010 and 2011.

Another I was at, Boston at Orlando NBA game. It was Orlando by 6 most of the game, but Larry Bird took over in the 4th qtr. Boston took the lead in the last minute and won. Bird had 43 that night.

The game had everything... Heartbreak, trick plays, underdog win, fun to watch.
I am SO glad I happened to turn it on. I was sitting in my dorm yelling and screaming at the tv. I turned it on in the fourth quarter when OU started coming back.
My favorite for sure

Bama/LSU regular season game last year. What a nail-biter, defensive slug-fest. I'd love to see that every year, both in the regular season, then again in the NCG.

Nothing like 8 missed field goals construed as good defense. Love it! :thumbup:ernest_t_bass;1342575 wrote:Bama/LSU regular season game last year. What a nail-biter, defensive slug-fest. I'd love to see that every year, both in the regular season, then again in the NCG.
