... I caught a bit of it last night & Lebanon Levi doesn't strike me as the "The Don" type, more like a bafoon than a nasty. the one dude with the shotgun has that serial killer look to him & the dude in the blue shirt is just an F'ng tard!

Obviously it's a typical Discovery staged show, but I think it does provide some insight to the "not so holy" Amish side. I think when people think of Amish, they think of pure, innocent people who do no wrong. This shows that they are human just like the rest of us.

While at Jamboree in the Hills last July I partied w/ Levi and the guy on his right hand side (forget his name). They and a bunch of other Mennonites camped right next to us. They told us they were going to be on a reality show coming up and we just lol'd at them.

The guy on his right hand side puked off of my friends super funky weed. Projectile vomited.

Haha unfortunately no. Is that something from the show? I haven't watched it yet.

They portray themselves at Amish? Several times when having a random convos they would clarify that they were Mennonites, not Amish. Nice guys though, crazy accents.

this. Tried watching for about 30 seconds.

Amish dude with a new Chevy pickup says yahoo in trailer hit a buggy.
yahoo says, "get off my property"
Amish dude gets shotgun out of truck then it went to commercial break.

I changed channels and didn't watch anymore.

Levi is the only one that really claims to be Old Order Amish, isn't he? I thought most of the rest of his gang were Mennonite so that they could have access to all that other stuff. Notice Levi doesn't talk on the phone or use cameras. He has one of the other guys do that. And if you need to get a hold of Levi quick, you call his blonde haired friend.

No, the Jolin dude is the only Mennonite. The other 3 are members of the Amish community. I believe, John? was supposed to be where Levi is now, but his dad died at an early age, so Levi took over or some shit like that.

Levi talks on the phone as well. He was shown on a cell phone multiple times on the show last night.

Ahh. We thought it was odd the the amish would be ok with the camera following them around, when they aren't even allowed to use them themselves.

Indeed, but this show takes it to another level (and after seeing the Kardashian thing, I didn't think there was another level) :(
