What about Jay-Z? Seems like he would have been the logical choice to pull in the urban audience.

Relax dude. Just thought it was ironic that those were two of the songs Joel played considering the circumstances. I'm not alone, I looked at Twitter this morning, and tons of people were making jokes about those song selections.

Diddy was on stage with Olivia Wilde...but that Uncle Tom didn't curse or say niggur one time! He just doesn't get the black people apparently...and WHY does it take a black person to get black people to be charitable? Sounds pretty racist to me.

More white people listen to Kanye than black people. You can bet on that. And whoever said Yeezy live is terrible has never been to a Yeezy concert. Easily one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Granted...JayZ was there too, but still.

But regarding the concert...he should've had more respect and just used other words. But hey, it's Yeezy, what do you expect? haha

Why? It is a charity event for a weather event that the government has become involved in. I question why those musicians whose belief it is that the government should pay for everything in our lives are trying to raise private funds from those who actually earn a living. Seems contradictory to me.

No...the concert that I attended in Chicago last year was good. I wasn't talking about last night.

How does a concert for Sandy relief not include The Beach Boys?

Ummm...because this isn't the politics forum. Thought "why" would have been pretty obvious.

I fell asleep before the end of the concert...did she play New York to end it with every band that hadn't fallen asleep yet?

Edited...read it...good for her.
