Yeah I think the only options are FSO or the radio.

As far as cable, our bill went up a couple months ago. I called and they immediately put it back to where it was. Just told them I thought it was outrageous to pay over $150 for cable/internet. Didn't even have to threaten to leave for a dish or another company.

Can't watch on tv so I'll listen when I can. I used to go to 30+ games a season but only made it to 6 last year. Probably won't go to many this year, either, but we will probably get season tickets again in 2016.

Anyone gonna jump on Sling TV from Dish??

Streaming service that will be available soon for $20 a month.

ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, Disney, TBS, TNT, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network

I would REALLY miss the BTN, but should be able to get the OTA channels with an antenna. Supposedly they are working on a "Sports Extra" package for $5 a month...if it included BTN, I will probably make the switch within a few months (for bugs to get worked out). Then just get the NBA/MLB package and stream those.

What is an adapter?

I know about Slingbox...but never heard of the adapter.

As for Sling TV, they claim it is not the same as Slingbox at all and not related to other Sling products...which is just stupid to have the same name if thats true.

If only there weren't the stupid blackout rules on MLB At Bat, I would pretty much get rid of my DirecTV. I mostly just watch Netflix now and we just got a free year of Amazon Prime so I'll be heavy into that. I have my parents' username/password for HBO Go and Watch ESPN. So I'd be pretty good with all of that and the MLB At Bat app to watch Reds games. But since the black out rules screw me over, I cling to DirecTV so I can still watch.

As of now I drop TWC cable (but keep the internet) from February through July. Add it again in August to catch the end of the MLB season and start of football and basketball. Luckily, when I drop my own cable in February, someone I know lets me use their Time Warner Cable acct to use the WatchESPN app and other TV apps on my XBOX and I let them use my Netflix acct. Will probably stay this way unless I get a roommate to split the bill with or until my girlfriend moves in with me. I pay $120ish for cable and internet for just me in my apt. right now.
