The story itself is not funny at all. Vball acting like he's concerned about a story from two years ago is. He's trying to be sleeper.

True. We also know that ND police waited 9 days before trying to contact the player. Let's see Penn St gets 4 yrs. probation because somebody who hasn't actually been part of the football program since 1996 was raping people not asociated with the school. But ND gets no penalty whatsoever when a current member of the football team rapes a fellow student who in turn commits suicide because he was also terrorizing her....hmmmm seems pretty fair by the usual standards of the NCAA which also equalizes recruiting pay-offs with selling or trading memoribilia.

they waited because there were conflicting stories between the accuser and her friends that were there. They all talked to police and had different accounts of what occurred.KR1245;1333047 wrote:I agree.

Alleged sexual assault.
I don't think any crimes were swept under the rug (assuming what Lotz said is true about why the police waited). The DS tragedy/accident wasn't attempted to be hidden in any way to my knowledge. So please explain.

For the record, once she died they could no longer charge the accused with a crime because court precedent says the witness/accuser has to be able to be cross-examined by the defense.
Still is kinda shady how long it took but let's not act like our legal system is normally some speedy process. I find the Declan Sullivan situation to be a lot more damning of the university than the Seeberg incident.
