With carter and possibly small gone looks like washington and thomas are going to have to step up

Not a big deal. All we're going to do is run the ball anyway. Now I can watch punt returns without being continually fearful of them being dropped.

God I can't wait for Small to leave OSU..

Nothing against him at all, but he just seems like one of those guys that has been there for 15 years!

Small, Rose and Delande are all out for the Rose Bowl.

I have no idea why Small and Rose are even still with the team after all their trouble. I'm convinced that both have something against Tressel.

As for the reason, it's most likely a failed drug test. Bowl teams are required to drug test for the bowl games and when you hear of guys who miss bowl games it's usually for academic or failed drug tests.

This. They both get in more trouble than anyone else currently on the team. OSU needs to just part ways with these two players (I know Small is gone as a senior). Rose has gotten in more trouble than he has contributed any sort of success to the team.

And this is why I said Carter was going to hurt. You CANNOT trust Ray Small.

Small and Rose have been nothing but underwhelming during their career at tOSU. I think they are still with the team so we don't upset the pipeline from Glenville.

Carter had something like 10 catches all year, it's not like he was a huge contributor. I will say that he seemed to block well from the WR position though.

There has to be more with Small and Tressel. Small hasn't really done anything too bad, but it seems like every year he's been in the news for 2-3 different things, whether it's comments about USC, his dad complaining, rumors of transfer or grades. I don't know if it's Tressel not wanting to ruin the Glenville pipeline, or Small being someone who received some illegal benefits that he has said he would come clean about it kicked off the team.

OSU probably won't even trust Washington or Thomas in the receiving game.

They will run two WR sets with Posey and Dane using both Ballard and Stoneburner on the field at the same time. OSU could split Stoneburner out wide if they needed to spread the field.

Man, the list of guys out for the game keeps growing. Although it is the usuals. Nothing too surprising (except for Bo Delande, the reporter shouldn't have wasted the time typing his name).

NO!!!!!!!!!

I don't care what y'all say, we need Small. Especially in a huge game where special teams can be the difference. Every time he touch the ball, he has the ability to score. This is huge!

I'm not sure how this claim can be made for Ray Small unless it's a claim made for every skill player on the field.

I swear I had a dream that Small was out of the Rose Bowl last night.

Who do you think Tressel will have as the returner? I say put Saine back there. Isnt he the state record holder for the 100m dash in Ohio or something?

Probably Thomas or Saine will be put back there. I'd prefer Saine though.

And I've never understood the thought process of Small as a big play threat. I think you can usually say that about every returner because of the nature of the play. Wasn't Small the guy that Ted Ginn said was more talented than his son?

Yeah there could be a huge difference back there with Small gone. Who is going to muff all the punts back there now?

How many second chances has this kid got since he's been at OSU?

I would imagine Sanzenbacher will be returning punts.
