Perhaps, but it is odd to not even be 1st team for your position but somehow are the best offensive player. The media voted Denard both, but the coaches had Dan Persa as their first team QB and Denard wasn't even 2nd team.

Back to this for a second. Michigan was 3rd in total D (only 4 yards behind Wisc) in the B1G, and only had a one 2nd teamer. OSU was 7th in total D and had 3 1st teamers, plus another 3 in the media picks for a total of 6 1st teamers. Also had the defensive POY. I agree, these 2 were the best outside LBs in the B1G hands down. For either to not be on the first team is a joke. I expected more love for some of the Buckeye O-Linemen also although I realize there are 11 other teams in the League.
