This is the wifey and I as well. I made this deal with her when we started dating almost 6 years ago. I said it was a waste of money. If we did something for Christmas, it'd be a trip together (went to Green Bay and Lambeau Field two straight years together) or eventually get something that we could have as a family (like a hot tub).

It's been perfect for almost 6 years. I think we both do throw something small in there for the trip or whatever we do. We're going skiing this year with my family, so I dunno what we'll do for it. Should be a good time.

Same here...We just buy stuff if we want it throughout the year (we don't spend a ton, but don't wait til Christmas if we want/need something).
