It dilutes being a captain. If he had wanted to honor those that received so many votes, he should have done 3 team captains then a weekly honorary captain from the pool of the rest.

My guess is this will start getting airtime in the next several days - especially since the first game is not much of a match up. I can't really see how the allegation that Meyer covered up positive drug tests years ago can be proven. But it will get the talking heads going because there's not much compelling news the first week of college football.
