So my boys and I just sat down and started watching Elf. Will Ferrell is really hit or miss (almost as bad as they come at it). I love this movie. So in honor of him, I'm posting IMDB's top 10 rated movies of his...rank them. I've eliminated the animated movies (Megamind), since we're all adults. I've also eliminated minor roles (Wedding Crashers, Austin Powers, etc).

IMHO he is one of the most overrated actors ever. He is not as funny as he thinks that he is:</SPAN>
He was very good in Anchorman, fair in Old School, and ok in Zoolander.
Very disappointing in Talladega Nights, horrible in Blades of Glory.
I might check out Other Guys and Semi Pro sometime, mainly due to the other cast members.</SPAN>

I didn't care for Blades of Glory and I haven't watched Stranger Than Fiction, Elf, or Zoolander. I really like Anchorman and Step Brothers. I thought Talladega Nights, Old School, Semi Pro, and Other Guys all had their moments but I'm not huge on any of them.

You should watch elf the movie is pretty good. Zoolander is gay don't waste your time

Special mention though to his cameo in Wedding Crashers.
I wasn't the biggest Zoolander fan. Hated Stranger than Fiction and Semi-Pro, didn't see Kicking and Screaming. No need to mention Bewitched.

Anchorman was good when it first came out but it's been run into the ground. Semi Pro and Talladega Nights are garbage. Idk that I've seen any others of his.

Fell asleep the first time watching it. Wasn't better on the second turn.
IMDB agrees with me...5.7 is pretty bad. It just wasn't funny. None of the jokes worked.
