He is a clear #1 for most overrated actor. He blows Phililp Seymor Hoffman, David Caruso and Sean Penn out of the water for that title. A poor man's John Ritter who is a poor man's Steve Martin.

I don't give a shit about his acting. His movies make me lol. That's really all I care about. I'm no Roger Fucking Ebert!

I disagree. I think there is a difference between "popular" and "overrated" - Overrated gets and Oscar, critic reviews & press, and rankings in the top actors of all time.

No one is going to come on here and tell you Ferrell deserves and Oscar or is a great actor. (IE Definition of overrated)

Ferrell is like many cartoons that entertain a certain demographic. This has nothing to do with being overrated.

He is very popular and entertains his demographics. No one wants him in the acting hall of fame.

The question of the day is how often do you enjoy being flat out wrong with opinions you have? :)

Many think that Ferrell is a top comedic actor or GOAT. He is not that funny. Therefore he is overrated. My opinions are not wrong unless the premise that they are built on have a fallacy to them. Yes there is a difference between a consensus that Daniel Day Lewis is actually the best or that Keanu Reeves or Steven Seagal is horrible. I simply reject that Ferrell is funny like most of you think.

But Ferrell IS a top comedic actor. You can dislike him but it still doesn't change the fact.

Wow, I don't feel comfortable with that list, I just know that they are all funnier than Ferrell.
