Did Tebow ever get in the game? I had to stop watching at halftime to go to work, but I saw the Sanchez INT and his incredible fumble. I dislike the Jets (read as Rex Ryan) as much as the next guy but man, at what point do they just give Tebow a shot. What do they have to lose at this point. Why did they acquire him if they were not going to utilize him.

The rule about not challenging a td almost happened last week as well. I read about it in Peter kings Monday morning qb. I for get who it was but they only got saved because of some other technicality.

No... I have never ever saw a team score with 18 seconds left to go up 14, kickoff 7 yards deep into the end zone for a 107 yard return (which will take 12-15 seconds) and then on sides kick and recover (hey, how'd that last one work?).....then complete a hail mary of 60 yards for another TD.

That has never happened. If he was going to clinch the game he would've fell after catching it....I mean he could've fumbled the ball or been stripped......could've fumbled the knee down snap for a TD.....all those happenings are virtually impossible, whereas my way is twice as impossible.

He was running full go as part of the play and just slid on the 1.....there wasn't 1:30 left and they weren't up by just a point. It was unnecessary.....that along he's one of the most overrated players I've ever seen.

It's pretty simple. He goes down and the game is over after one kneel down. He goes into the end zone and play continues. He doesn't take a knee to start, probably because he went with his natural reaction and them corrected it.

In no way during that play was he an idiot or whatever you called him.

He went with his natural reaction for 35+ yards. Neither way has ever resulted in a loss....

I'll just change my opinion and say he must be a good sport not running up the score and Tresseling it on the 1. Good for him.

Yeah, there was no chance Dallas was winning if he scores. I'd have taken the TD. You never see those on an onside, would have been awesome.

Statistically, there was a chance. That's all that matters. If he goes down, Dallas has a 0% chance of winning. If he scores, the odds are still awful but greatly improve.

Brian Westbrook did the same thing for the Eagles years ago.

I have seen a kickoff return for a TD. Even if its 108 yards, you will have time left on the clock (only need 1 second, as you can down the onside without clock starting). I have seen teams recover the onside kick. I have seen hail marys completed. I have seen all of those things, and as rare as they all are and as rare as it would be to all happen I think it is significantly higher than a kneeldown fumble and subsequent 99 yard hail mary.

Soooooo. No. Since that was NOT a kneeldown. It was a fumble on a botched snap. Kneeldown wouldve won the game.

Rutgers and Greg Shiano forced 2 fumbles out of victory formation in 2009.

I admit that decision doesn't make an idiot (though his career of smack talking and getting toasted leads me to believe he's not too smart)....I can't talk about this anymore. I still say once he got sprinting past everyone and still going full speed at the 10 everyone in the world watching was prepared for the TD.....then Troy Aikman giggled and said "well I didn't see the point in that"

It's the smart thing if they are up 1 or even 2....it's moot up 7.

13-15 point lead with 18 seconds left and having to kickoff, run kickoff back for TD, successfully complete an onside kick (which they just performed one of the worst ones ever) and then complete around a 60 yard hail mary with just 1 chance.

Performing a successful snap and kneel down.

Lol...how? Bradshaw scored when the Giants were down 17-15 with little time left and the Patriots obviously wanted him to. If the Giants do kneeldowns they have to successfully make a short FG for the WIN....him scoring gave the Patriots the ball with some time and down only 4 or 5

The Patriots only needed a kickoff return OR a hail mary.....not both and no onside, plus way more time
