It's not that hard to believe, and a relatively simple calculation to make. $4.5T in state & federal taxes vs. gross national expenditures on food, shelter and clothing (I have no idea what those numbers are, but healthcare/energy/financial services/GovtX are already about 2/3 of the $17.5T US economy).

I just did some math and found out we spend about $12,000 more in taxes than we consume in food, shelter & clothing. Only in America!! Does the fact more is spent in taxes than personal substinence bother anyone? Infuckingstupidity. And there are those who say we need to raise taxes MORE!!!

Lets get boatshoes to persuade the fed to invent even MORE funds instead of taking more from Barry's beloved middle class?

I thought the article was spot on, particularly the pieces regarding the Equal Pay executive order and the cynicism behind it, as well as the efforts of the administration to chill debate.

Does anyone think that the average salary for a woman who is employed by the Miami Heat makes even $0.77, my guess it is closer to $0.10 because of all of the highly paid male basketball stars. Does that mean they are discriminated against? This is how the BLS gets these phony numbers.
