If I am a U.S. intelligence officer I take anything a foreign intelligence entity tells me with a huge grain of salt. They are operating in the bounds of their nations best interest. Hand picked as some the most dedicated servants to their state. At times intelligence agencies get it wrong but its quit common for them to propagate false information when it is in their interest. I get quite suspicious of any so called "intelligence" that gets propagated to the public. It may at times be truth but is made public to support the agenda of the government. Leaks are sparse and usually by those in the intelligence community that have a serious problem with the course of their government. There is not a nation on the earth that has not willfully passed off false intelligence to another nation even allies.

Lets not be naive to the fact that nations seek to develop nuclear weapons so that they can give nuclear powers the middle finger. To think that is not a reasonable consideration for Iran would be foolish. Look no farther than North Korea. That said war is already afoot in the Middle East and in Europe. Dangerous times are upon us. You have an exact parallel pre-WWII the only different dynamic is the principal powers possess nuclear arms. Lets be frank Russia is at war with NATO. Because of the nuclear dynamic a hot all out proxy war between the two fixing to engulf Ukraine.

"There's no other way to say this. The official unemployment rate, which cruelly overlooks the suffering of the long-term and often permanently unemployed as well as the depressingly underemployed, amounts to a Big Lie."

The assault by the obama administration on the economy and those wanting/needing a job is treasonous.

Jesus did I get drilled in the ass on my taxes due to this stupid Obamacare. I claimed my girlfriend and her daughter and had to pay a $2000 penalty because they didn't have insurance (girlfriend doesn't work, her daughter's on permanent disability). The "good" news is that, even if I DON'T claim them on my taxes next year I still get screwed because they live under my roof so I'll STILL be penalized, according to my accountant.

obamacare is the largest legislative and administrative disaster in the history of the republic, and it was brought to you 100% by democrats and other radical liberals. It is causing, and will continue to cause, highly destructive effects on the economy, will dramatically burden individuals, and damage actual health care. It proves yet again that liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.

My girlfriend's uncle, who is a bleeding heart liberal, thinks Obama is the shit and that Obamacare is the best thing going. He works a government job and is well paid so he's not the typical blood sucking leech freeloader. He lauds the program because of people who are getting insurance who couldn't because of pre-existing conditions they had. I have no issue with insuring those kind of people but if I want to insure my girlfriend and her daughter, it's $900+/month.

The funny thing about her uncle is that he's a former military guy. With the current POTUS off & on threatening to cut military pay/benefits, you'd think he'd be disgusted with the POTUS.

Sorry but anyone who works for the federal government is a freeloader POS. Government workers add almost zero value and the laziest POS on the planet. I know this because I've had clients who were government workers and they do nothing except "manage" private sector workers who do their job for them.

That's funny, the FY16 Defense budget is increasing and pay is increasing by 1.3%.

Largely you are right, but I do deal with a few who are great and hardworking. They are very few and far between.

What about the people who buy the contractors?

health insurance premiums have been rising at an alarming rate year over year long before anyone ever heard of Obama. The system was broken a long time ago and Obamacare, while not perfect by any stretch, is the first attempt to address cost abuses by the medical industry and insurance companies.

Any federal employee, for the most part, is worthless. WORTHLESS.

I'd lean towards he does not work hard considering the US postal service is essentially bankrupt and poorly run.

Of course there are exceptions to every rule however I cannot name one federal client that I've had that I feel added any value to the US taxpayer.

How exactly does Obamakare address rising cost abuses by the medical industry and insurance companies? As far as I know, it only forces everyone to get insurance.

It addresses certain gross inefficiencies in the system such as basic care being provided unscheduled by hospitals/ERs.

Liberals keep buying in....the left-wing usually has some economists and scientists in the bag (and in one instance, nearly an entire field), to fabricate bullshit to support the agenda.

Thankfully things like inefficiencies and greed do not exist in government. The government is only here to help.

This guy should grab an aluminum foil hat while he's at it. He's now claiming that he fears for his safety for saying this.

Flaws in the official unemployment rate are there. If you look at the Bureau of Labor Statistics site, they explain right on there the things that aren't included. That's why there are several different "unemployment rates". The one commonly reported is not intended to be the final word on every aspect of the labor market. It is more a barometer of how healthy the labor market is month over month and year over year. No matter how you want to twist it, the labor market is gaining now in most sectors.

Yep, business is optimistic now that the 'pubs control both houses. There is less of a chance of further taxation and hence more willingness to expand.

The economic recovery started long before November's elections.
