*sigh* I'm actually more offended by the Bowe Bergdahl situation than with the Cuban situation.

Why haven't we heard anything about Bergdahl lately, anyway? >.>

And Michelle asked to help someone at Target. Big woop...that has happened to me too...more than once. The difference is that you don't see me playing the race card about it.

Both of them need to grow a thicker skin...and just go away.
I call BS on the First Lady mistaken for a Target employee, with the Secret Service around her no one asked her if she worked at Target. They MAY have asked her to help them get something down, but they didn't mistake her for an employee.

I think she may have meant before she was first lady.

You can apply this logic with the black community as well.

supposedly she told a very different story on Letterman(?)....said the woman asked her to reach something off the top shelf because she was tall

Very sad that, rather than elevate the national dialogue, the first couple takes the race baiting way out. Unfortunately they will probably only become more powerful/influential after leaving office.

Hope someone doesn't ask Michelle to pass the ketchup. You might be labeled a racist.

That did cross my mind as it would any man. But then again I had to realize our skins are a different color. Clearly I now need to interpret the situation differently.

[h=3]EPA Issues Nation’s First Coal Ash Rule.[/h]The Daily Caller (12/22, Bastasch) reports that in “an early Christmas gift for the coal industry,” the Environmental Protection Agency last Friday issued “a new regulation on coal ash from power plants.” The “nation’s first Federal coal ash rule” has “coal-fired power plant operators fuming,” arguing that it “creates lots of uncertainty for plant operators.”
Tribe: EPA’s Clean Power Plan Is Unconstitutional. In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal (12/23, Tribe, Subscription Publication), Laurence Tribe, a constitutional-law professor at Harvard Law School and a professor at Harvard University, argues that the EPA’s proposed rule is unconstitutional, because it shows the agency exercising power beyond its legal authority.

At what point will the citizens take back their country and its resources from the marxists at the EPA and elsewhere in this administration and BIG government?

Thought I would drop by and see if anybody was renegging on their Obama-hate given all the recent good news.

Let's see...

Economic growth at its fastest rate in over a decade and the DOW is over 18,000 all thanks to Obummer's Fed pick Janet Yellen (Mitt Romney would have picked somebody much more hawkish than her...after all he and everybody else were rambling on about Bernanke debasing the dollar).

Despite complaints of currency debasement the dollar keeps getting stronger.

It was Obama that was playing chess while Putin was playing checkers as Putin's moves have indeed been revealed to be "very expensive for Russia"

gasoline is under $2.00

The Budget Deficit is back to 2.8% of GDP, below the average for the last forty years of 3.1% of GDP

Two wars are over and our young people no longer have to get their legs blown off for nothing in failed states in an epic waste of human life and resources.

Romney promised that his "pro-bIdniz" policies could get our unemployment rate under 6% in under four years...Obummer's communist policies and socialist Fed pick beat that promise in half the time with the unemployment rate at 5.8%

We're no longer going to waste resources deporting productive members of our society.

We're no longer going to waste federal resources running down people who smoke weed.

We're no longer going to continue an outdated policy toward Cuba.

Obamacare has reduced the number of uninsured people to its lowest level ever based on ideas that Republicans came up with back when they weren't loons

Obamacare has broken the back in our nation's spiraling health care costs based on ideas that Republicans came up with back when they weren't loons

LOL what a failed president!

Right Wingers Should Love this Obama Guy!

In other words, if the roles were reversed and Romney were president and we were getting all of these good results...the Republican voters on this site and all over the Conservative echo chamber would be showering him with endless praise. But, derp gonna derp.

Barring complete incompetence on the part of the Fed in the next two years, Obama will stroll on with the best economic record of any modern president lol.

Thanks Obama!

Has it really? I haven't seen any numbers, but I was always curious to see if everyone having insurance would do anything about spiraling health care costs. Obviously people with insurance pay less when they have medical issues but I always questioned if uninsured patients were the actual reason for the increase in costs.

Obviously; he's the guy who said sequester was to blame for the anemic economy.

I could pick apart his essay sentence by sentence, but it is Christmas Eve and I will only wish him, and all of you, all the best. Have a blessed Christmas.

Indeed we would be having even faster growth were it not for the spending cuts from the sequester and the tax hikes from the fiscal cliff deal. But good thing Obummer appointed Yellen anyways.

QE3 + Forward Guidance by Yellen + No Sequester/Tax Hikes would have been better than just QE3 + Forward Guidance but you take what you can get. And what we got was better than what Romney promised and in half the time. You should be HAPPY!!! I didn't get the payroll tax cuts I wanted either but I can still recognize a good thing!

Thanks Obama!
