Neither. Reid would never even be a candidate. And I don't want a college coach.

I think Chip Kelly could be a guy who revolutionizes the NFL. Its so boring watching everybody run the same pro-style offense in the NFL. When the Dolphins introduced the Wildcat and even the Broncos last year with Tebow, it was fun to watch. However, it would take years to get guys for his system making everything the Browns have done in rebuild a complete waste. Do not want him.

Kelly wont work in the nfl. Not because of his style. But similar to saban, he's too used to being God to these kids to take the culture shock of the nfl.

Andy Reid would probably be the worst decision for the Browns. You have a guy that is completely in love with the pass. Richardson would be wasted in his offense. His teams, despite having lots of talent, have more often than not under performed.

Andy Reid is not an option. Him and Banner don't really get along, plus he sucks. Have you watched a game? They have a top 5 rb that they waste, and they simply suck. I don't want either of those options, not even sure who I want thought. Shurmur has to be gone though.

I picked Kelly simply because Reid wouldn't let trich touch the ball. I just want someone who isn't a complete dolt. Is that really too much to ask for???

I am sorry, but when you make the playoffs 9 out of the 13 seasons you coach (19 total playoff games), you are a good coach. Not sure why everyone is making Reid out to be a shitty coach. I understand his style doesn't fit well with the Browns personnel, but to say he isn't a good coach is ridiculous. I would take him any day over chip kelly in an interview.

James and Richardson aren't the same type of player.SportsAndLady;1319722 wrote:LaMichael James seemed to do okay in his offense
Also agree with like_that about Reid. Didnt he make the NFC championship like 294838 straight years?

They're both RB's. F4F said a RB cannot succeed under Chip Kelly.Pick6;1319726 wrote:James and Richardson aren't the same type of player.

From 2000-2004 they went 11-5 or better every year and made a bunch of NFC title games.Pick6;1319726 wrote:Also agree with like_that about Reid. Didnt he make the NFC championship like 294838 straight years?
They've underachieved big time since then. Reid isn't a bad coach by any means, but he only has 3 playoff wins since 2004, and they're about to miss the playoffs for the 4th time in those 8 seasons.

For all the anti Trich under Reid comments, just remember McCoy last season and Brian Westbrook. TRich will pwn in any system.

It was more about Chip's system...you think he can succeed in Chip's system? I think so.Commander of Awesome;1319772 wrote:For all the anti Trich under Reid comments, just remember McCoy last season and Brian Westbrook. TRich will pwn in any system.

I dont think Chips system can succeed in the NFL. For the same reason that Cam Newton isn't a good NFL QB.

The pats are using a varation of oregons offense this year and it seems to be working just fine.

The Pats have also had a good offense every year since about 1994...
