Never signed up. Pretty much the only person out of all my friends who never did. Just didn't give a f--- when it first caught on big (2007 or so) and then just held out and never did. Don't care either.

My friends list says 635. Or 695. can't remember right now.

Either way, I only remember sending about 5 friend requests.

As for the stupity of FB, meh... I have around a few dozen friends who have moved out of the area and I find it convenient to watch their families grow, even though they live in Alabama, Pennsylvania, California, Cincinnati, Tennessee, West Virginia, or Wisconsin. I can't be all places at all times (lest there be any confusion concerning my humanity) so it's nice to have a one-stop shop where I can see how things are going.

My real issue for me is with people... not so much FB. If you can't enjoy a movie, a dinner with friends, a book, or even a walk without checking in, or creating a status, or checking someone else's status... Come on, man!!! Again, that's more about people than it is FB.

414 real friends with whom I have a mutual interest in their lives, and vice versa. I cut down from over 900 last year 'cuz I was tired of having updates in my feed from people I didn't care about.
