20/140 in one eye and 20/180 in the other.

I'm pretty much blind. Glasses are really thick, so I prefer to wear contact lenses.

Scary thing is, my sight has improved over the last year. Used to be 20/160 and 20/200.

My wife works at an eye center and I have my eye exam coming up in a few weeks.....first one since I was in 6th grade. Kind of interested to see where my vision is at.

Last time I was checked I read the copyright light at the bottom when the doctor said to read the lowest line you can.

He called me a smartass and sent me home.

I don't know the numbers, I know that I read better without glasses and can see at normal human standards within 10 feet. After that, God help us all if I'm driving.
