And Gianforte wins in Montana despite media attempting to influence the election, again.

He's obviously a guy who can handle the tough times with a cool head. It's great that he's joining the club.

It's great that the media lost, again.

The sooner they return to their proper role, the better.

The media didn't body slam the candidate; he did. The member of the media was exercising his 1st amendment rights.

But once again, the GOP does not care about character, the constitution, or violence; they only care about hurting the decent people of this country. Sickening.

It is 2017. If there is no video of the incident, there is something suspicious going on.

There is alleged video but even if it came out, the GOP would still support him. We had video of the President admitting to sexual assault and he still was elected President.

GOP does not care about morals, ethics, or character.

we also have videos of presidents lying under oath about not having sex in the oval office.

The moral decay of this country started with a Dem in the white house

This isn't a school yard; just because someone started it(your words) doesn't mean we should continue to support and condone it.

Bill Clinton isn't an elected official; Gianforte is. Hillary Clinton isn't an elected official, Trump is. Obama is no longer our President; Trump is. Want to stop moral decay? Stop voting in immoral people regardless of D or R.

That's a subjective statement but let's assume it's true. If true than you've just made another great example of what's wrong with our current political landscape. We only want to hold the other team accountable. Just because Bill had no morals and got away with it doesn't mean someone on your team should be able to do the same. You either care about the moral character of all public servants, don't care about it (so STFU about immoral dems) or, are a blowhard. Most people seem to be the 3rd anymore.

Not at all. Let's perhaps learn from history instead of repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

Well, maybe you think it is ok for a liberal journalist to purposefully crash a republican volunteer committee barbeque, confront a person, jam a mic in their face and continue to harass them and goad them into lashing out, but most people think that is stepping across the lines of decorum and civility. There is a time and a place and a proper way to ask questions of candidates. Thankfully, most Montana voters knew what occurred in this instance, saw through it, and voted for the right guy.

He was an INVITED member of the media asking a question during a press conference. This is the reality. There are multiple witnesses, some from Fox News, corroborating the story of the reporter and Gianforte has been charged with assault.

Please seek professional help. You are brainwashed.

Jacobs is douche bag ............ sometimes you get what you deserve.

However, to make you and other offended snowflakes feel better, Mr. Gianforte said he was sorry. So now we can move on, right?

Apparently, Gianforte won because 70% of the votes were already in because of early voting.

You are a disgusting human being for condoning violence. When are you going to grow up? He didn't deserve to be body slammed for exercising his 1st amendment rights.

Gianforte didn't just say he was sorry, he changed his story entirely to line up with the witness accounts(reality) and it will go away once the GOP holds him accountable for his actions. Otherwise, the GOP is actively condoning criminals in office.

That's irrelevant. Gianforte should resign and Paul Ryan should sanction the seat until it happens. Otherwise, once again, the GOP is condoning violence against those who are exercising their 1st amendment rights and are actively supporting a criminal to hold office in this country.
