It's been a while. What are some annoying FB trends that you cannot stand, besides the obvious ones?

- Vaguebooking (Obvi)
- Passive aggressive posts (Obvi)
- Egocentrism

Here is one I hate. There is a girl, a FB friend, who is very fat, and not attractive. I'm only using her as an example, and she's not at fault... She will put a picture up of herself, and people will comment, "You're so beautiful!" blah, blah, blah.

No, she's not beautiful, she fat, and really pretty ugly. Stop being fucking nice. Just don't comment. If you can't say anything mean, don't say anything at all!

Defriend anyone who's a stupid shit, or at least hide their status updates. Problem solved.

Dont think it is a new trend, but an example is the pic going around of the Guard of the Tomb of the Unknown during the hurricane.
The pic that was posted and going around was from months ago during a storm

but anyways...the political stuff is def annoying.

Actually, it was from last month (September), but I know what you're saying.

I actually did this until there were only four or five people left, and then it wasn't even worth checking up on since it was all of my close friends.

Yeah, I hide everyone...I only read my own posts. It is more interesting.

I've been in the process of deleting people off of facebook. The only reason I still have it is for pictures. Facebook has made it really fucking hard to delete people.

It's not that hard, but it does take more clicks than it used to.

I deleted/deactivated my account two years ago. Shit hasn't changed. Status updates, in general, are retarded.

Especially the idiots who don't bother to check if something is true before they repost it.

You have to go to each individuals page and unfriend them there, correct? Or is there an easier way?

Lol. Good point.

A friend of mine's mom added me and she posts daily shit about Obama being a Muslim and not being born in the US. It's ridiculous.

No. When their annoying post pops up, hover the mouse over their name and scroll down to where it says "Friends"...again keep hovering mouse and click unfriend.

Yeah, I do that. I also want to do the preparation method of just deleting all ignorant people before they have a chance to ruin my feed.

Anyone else get a bunch of weekly pictures of their friends' kids? I don't give a shit about your 34 week old kid. The little shit looked the same as 7 days ago.

Than go to your friends list and do it that same way.

Just curious, but how old are you??

I really dont mean that as an insult, but usually I am telling people in their 30s how to do this and not those in their 20s lol, so I am just wondering.

I'm 24. I know how to do this. I thought dlazz was hinting towards being able to do a mass delete by clicking a check box of all the friends you want gone and then a one button delete. This would be convenient versus having to hover and click each one.(the hover speed pisses me off)

I hate when parents are always talking about how much they love their kids. You know what, I already assume you love your kids, tell me when you decide to hate them, it's much more interesting.

lol, ok thats makes sense.

I do know older folks who literally go to the persons page (via the search function) and click the unfriend link. Just making sure you didnt do that.
