To keep him healthy, they need to protect him. He's had to run for his life, probably in all three games.
He might stand a chance with a little protection.

The coaching staff needs to rethink things. Sounds like they've been the ones throwing in the towel.

Anyway, I think the Devils pick up win #1 this week against Jefferson. Jefferson is rather young this year, having graduated a boatload.

Campbell's speed will win this one.

Go Devils.

didnt brookfield graduate a boatload also? Devils lose again. Well on their way to a winless season.

winless seems almost assured now with 2 starters no longer with the team, the mass exodus has begun.

Yes Brookfield lost most of their team, no key players returned. I don't see Campbell going winless, they will win this week and maybe it will give some confidence

Things get progressively worse daily for the Devils.
It is a shame.

We need you guys to start winning some games for L2 points.

I still think you get win #1 Friday.

If it's bad weather as indicated, there will probably only be the few 'die-hard' Devil backers there.

When one of the players you were planning on building around quits you have probs. This kid is not a behavior problem at all and a workhorse. This is an indication of how bad it is to me. I guess some parents went down to BOE to complain about no 4 using his cell phone during game...just typing that makes me laugh lol....and then still being allowed to play following week. UMMM and this player is one of the "captains"? lol crazies are running the asylum. what a shame but all control has been lost.

Nice to see Memorial finally win a game although I thought they would've won by more.

Also good that they haven't thrown in the towel yet.

I guess that 21-7 setback to SR wasn't so bad after all. Especially after the Raiders knocked off a very good Crestview team last night.

I still feel that Campbell can make something out of the rest of this season.
Starting with LaBra next Friday.

Devils 27 Vikings 13

Go Campbell! !!!

Where are all the Sikora backers? What is the excuse now? The kids are out of control? The kids dont want to work hard? But all offseason we heard the opposite.

actually 2 more. since the opening game roster, half of the starters are no longer on the team, what a complete disaster.

Im going to move convo over here about 86 and 89 teams....yes I agree with you on 86 offensively. I think they compare more with 71 team if were trying to compare teams across different time periods, but I wouldnt put them in my top 5 teams. 89 was a juggernaut on both sides of ball. I know its hard to do and if I get a vote on best teams ever I might vote 1957. I think they dont get recognized as much as they should. SVC schedule scored 60 more points on year than 89 team and gave up 1 point less. Also had 10 players earn division 1 football scholarships including a 3 year letterwinner at Syracuse and a first team all american at Northwestern. That senior class won three straight SVC championships. The 56 team went undefeated and gave up 42 points on season but wasnt as good on offense as 57 team. Cant really compare apples and oranges but I think 57 gets overlooked.

For sure the older teams get overlooked! I always laugh at the comparison of the 89' team and the 90'. Those guys were great but they were on our 89' team. Would you rather have the 89' team with the 90's guys as juniors or the 90' team with a sophomore class to replace us? No comparison!!!

Very good point about 90 team. Ive heard some guys say from 89 team that was the last year of "big boy" football so to speak, plus that team dropped down a division. Didnt you guys play warren western reserve in 87 or 88? or was that a scrimmage?

Meaning they dropped down a division in 90.

Campbell played Warren Western Reserve in week one of the 1988 season. The Red Devils lost 14-6 at Mollenkopf. I was there. We gave a much bigger Reserve team all they could handle. Our 1987 team also played Reserve in week 9 of that season, losing 9-0 at Campbell.
