I didnt make it to the scrimmage, but i heard from many there was a lot of things to fix.

All I am going to say is Campbell missed too many tackles and they are not nearly as aggressive as they need to be. I am not sold on the spread offense. The QB is in his first year at the varsity level. Hopefully more reps vs. Niles McKinley on Thursday night will help him some.

I threw up in my mouth watching the scrimmage at Niles! Struthers is putting 50 pts on us in the opener.

heard from some ppl who went to the scrimmage too that said the same thing---absolutely horrible, they are talking 0-10, maybe 1-9 if lucky.

I'd like to know what they have been doing at practice. That was a pathetic effort. The offensive line looked dazed and confused! That was an absolute thrashing!!

Struthers will beat us quite easily this year. With 13 starters back, you would think there would be some excitement about the season, but there isn't. We will go 6-4 this year and just miss the playoffs again.

I figured this team would go 5-5 based on what was coming back, and having an inexperienced qb. After getting reports from both scrimmages, it is definitely possible for this team to end up 1-9 (newton falls being the only win). Most are expecting struthers to name the score, if that happens, will the same old problems resurface, i.e., players quitting, skipping practices, etc.

Agreed. I have seen nothing to change our expectations, that being a bad year. Numbers are way down. Losing players will only add to the misery. If the srimmages are any indication of what we are going to see on the field this season, Struthers will torch us big time.

Their speed can beat most of the teams they play alone, Champion? Falls? Labrae? Brookfield should be down also, and thats just off the top of my head.

Campbell will have good speed. The Red Devils may well win games against the above teams in your post, although Brookfield could be a toss up. The Warriors will be physical. And they seem to have the Red Devils number ever since Campbell gave away a big game to them in 2011. Liberty will be tough. They can match Campbell's speed. South Range has a lot of kids back. Girard is always a tough game. Struthers, Jefferson Area, and Lakeview, the larger schools on Campbell's schedule, all will pose a problem. Unless Struthers gives away the game, I don't see the Red Devils winning that one. It will be interesting to see what happens to this team should they get beaten badly by Struthers.

I cant understand 13 starters from last year missing so many tackles. And the offence is not as good as i seen pre 2009. we will hurt to win more than 5. Struthers will handle what i seen at the scrimmages.. . what the hell is up with the coaching? the offense needs to be in the i formation!!! The spread is not gonna work out.

LOL QB is athletic but line is terrible in the scrimmages I seen, Campbell will score on big plays this season when they score I don't see many drives
