If he did take the job (I cant confirm or deny), the only people I know have taken a spot on the staff are Ferranti, Carney, Gozur Jr, and McCray. I know others have been rumored. I know nothing about McCray from a coaching standpoint. Seems like the staff lacks a standout defensive coordinator. I know Ferranti is an excellent coach.

Either way if Rozum is the next coach at Campbell it is easily the best we can do. This city has been waiting for something like this.

According to my source, and it's a good one, Edward Rozum has been named head football coach at Campbell Memorial. From my perspective, I want to see a couple of key persons added to the coaching staff for this to be a great situation. Welcome back Coach Ed.

Welcome back Coach Rozum. Its been a long time coming. Anyone that can turn this program around in a hurry has just taken on this very big task. This will not be like other seasons he coached. These kids are raw and out of control. But my gut feeling is if anyone can do it! Its Coach Rozum. Now fans please do not expect much out of his first season. This is not 99. This is far far from it. Wonders what would have happen if he coached the 2010 team. : thumbup:: thumbup:: thumbup::RpS_flapper::RpS_w00t:! The fork has returned.

Interesting...

Good luck, from Struthers! I may not be a very big Campbell fan, but I'm a big fan of old school tradition... maybe Coach Rozum can help Campbell Football find theirs one more time.

Week 1 last year was pretty ugly. Is it safe to expect a better effort, and all around performance, from the Devils this year?

I hope some good assistants are asked including Koulianos, Rauzan, Haz, Ferranti. I think those would be nice additions not sure about McCray and Gozur Jr. Gozur coached this years o-line correct? Was NOT impressed. Doesnt seem like a go getter to me. Im fine with Carney at special teams.

I have no doubt that Rozum will be coming to Struthers prepared to win... the question is, will everyone else be on the same page?

Elash aside... what kind of talent will Campbell have this year?

I agree with most of what you said. Dont agree with Rauzan. I'd rather him worry about his day job, they've been doin a hell of a job there. Agree with McCray too. Doesn't make any sense to me.

I don't have a problem with Gozur Jr., the biggest problem was strength and conditioning and that's the first thing thats been addressed and its been addressed in a big way. We'll see who has the desire to be Devils. It won't take long to find out.

And I'd LOVE to see Haz on those sidelines this fall!!

the one thing about Rozums Teams "Aside from the 99 team cause he had no time to get them in shape he liked to be in for each season" They have always been a well oiled machine. No doubt any of that will change. Do not expect much out of the first year team. They have been pamper way to much over the last 5 years. These kids will now have to put up or shut up to be a devil. And they will have to know what it was like to be a devil. It don't matter what team will be on the field. Rozum will only play players that want to win and be a team. there will be no quit from now on. I just wish we could see his old assistance out there with him.

But i promise one thing. There will be a lot of power running!!!

Well im not sure what position he will play this year. But I have to agree it probably wont be QB. He will more then likely have someone speeder under center. As his thoughts are probably going to be smash mouth football.

Smash mouth football with those kids up front? Surely he will tweak his offense for his talent. Week 1 is coming fast..
but after their tall task week one, (struthers is going to be good again) who do they have on their schedule? Brookfield? They're gonna be good for their size i think

The schedule is the same as last year. Positions are yet to be determined.

Does anyone know how the size of the team will be as far as lines will be. and is there any players that stand out to you that will be on team by the end of the 1st grade period. I know Rozum will recruit through the school and keep up and on them about keeping grades up. But i know there are a few i would not be surprised will not make it through the fist week of practice and a few more wont even make it through 2 doubles. That is fine with me. Cause i want to see the ones that are are winners on the field.

Im assuming Struthers, Lakeview, Girard, Brookfield will be good. Dont know a thing about Jefferson or Liberty. The rest of the schedule is manageable.
