So you think the reason there aren't more white people taking the NBA by storm is because they don't play a style of play that "sells tickets?" Not because they lack talent?

I'll take a black guy over a white guy in basketball any day of the week.

My only problem playing pick up hoops with black people is they never pass the ball which is the biggest reason I hate Allen Iverson because he ruined pick up basketball with his incessant need to chuck up shots that rarely went in.

Eh, maybe not exactly what I meant. But "white guy basketball" has a better chance of succeeding in college than the NBA. White guys would grind it out, play defense, and execute boring offenses.

You know, the stereotypical stuff.

I guess my point was that 5 good white basketball players can play just as well as 5 black basketball players. But the style is very different. You don't think the NBA would be boring if it was mostly white guys?

I think this has far more to do with cultural race roles than it does actual skin color.

But seriously, I don't think the reason matters. I don't think people would flock to arenas around the country to see team of Johns Stocktons play basketball like they would Lebrons.

I agree, but I think part of the reason John Stocktons play like John Stockton is because of the roles ascribed to white basketball players growing up.
