I've been waiting for this one since the first meeting. Browns hung tough and it came down to the last play of the game at Baltimore. An ill advised pick 6 throw by Weeden was the difference.

With Joe Haden back and Phil Taylor possibly returning I don't see the Ravens offense moving the ball quite like they did in the first meeting. Boldin absolutely torched the Browns secondary in the second half.

It's not going to surprise me if the Browns knock these guys off. In fact, I expect it.

Following yesterday's win over the Chargers, D'Qwell Jackson said “We have the best fans in football. Whether it’s a hot day, rainy day, cold day, cold and rainy day, they’re out there. It charges us up. To give them a win is great. Hopefully, next week, we can carry this momentum and get the same outcome.”

lol BR you start these threads quickly after a Browns win. If T Rich is feeling as good as he did yesterday, this could be a close game. I would say it should be interesting to see how Suggs plays after a bye week, but JT seems to be back to his typical form, and he typically shuts down a 100% healthy Suggs.

It's all good, I am sure bigdaddy would have started this thread in the next few hours if you didn't. He gave the Ravens some good karma with his thread last time, hopefully the Browns get good karma with you starting the thread.

After yesterday's victory, Shurmur gave the team off until Wednesday (Tuesdays are a mandatory off day) but the players refused so they could come in today to prep for Baltimore.

The browns are on a roll. I look for them to beat the ratbirds and finsihed the season 8-8 or 9-7

That's one thing I don't understand, even after all the stupid playcalling, ignorance to the media/fans, and losing...the players still are playing hard for Shurmur.

I just think in general the team wants to turn it around badly, for themselves not necessarily Shurmur. Who knows though. Shurmur might be a great guy behind closed doors, and the players feel for him.

This is what I've heard. He may come across as Eeyore to the media but he's supposedly pretty fiery/vocal behind closed doors. Find it hard to believe though.

I don't think Flacco has the same type of game he had last time around with Haden playing. I am more concerned about Rice than I am Flacco/Anquan/Smith

Can only hope their O-Coordinator stays dumb. He hasn't been using Rice nearly enough. It's almost like they are trying to morph into an Atlanta Falcons/aerial assault type thing except Baltimore doesn't have the weapons or the QB to get it done.

And the fans. This team knows the fan care and love the team. All you have to do is listen to Haden, Cribbs, DQ or Thomas talk about the fans and you see these guys get it.

I think it's a good sign the players are coming in on an off day. It shows maturity and desire. And this is predominantly a bunch of young players.

I like their chances against the dirtybirds. They are starting to get healthy and will have players playing that weren't on the field in the first game.

i def like our chances against the rat birds. especially if richardson runs like he did against san diego. and i like weeden against their defense. i think our offense can have a big day. suggs should be a non factor

He usually is when he faces Thomas. And if he faces Schwartz, the rook has shut down some very good players this year. Think we got our right side "Joe Thomas" for the next 8-10 years. Plus Weeden gets rid of the ball fairly quickly.

He has been every time he has faced JT. That includes last year, when he was DPOY.

Maybe week 1 and 2, but he has been back to his form since then. If there is anything i am confident about with the Browns, it is JT shutting down his guy, especially a Suggs who isn't even 100%

I dont even see how it's debatable. One is the best LT in the game and the best LT of our generation, the other is coming off of an Achilles injury that is usually career threatening.
