Breast cancer awareness month?

Now, before you go all "OMG sleeper wants women to die of breast cancer" like I know the liberals will(I'm looking at you Gibby), what the fuck does "awareness" do for a disease that is prevalent all over in today's society? Can we cut the shameless promotion of in my opinion, the most fraudulent "charity" of all time, Susan G. Komen? I'm sick of seeing pink this and pink that; parades of mostly ugly women and men with no balls, and the NFL placing pink everywhere pretending to give a shit.

"Awareness". LOL. Someone explain it to me because its a joke. :thumbdown:

I agree with you, Sleeper. The pink is obnoxious. Cancer of all kinds should be the focus. Not just tits. (even though I'm a big fan.)

They do it because most people see it in a good light. It's just a PR move for most companies/organizations, one that says "hey, we care about people" more than other similar charitable actions.

I agree, there's no need to keep raising "awareness" for something that everyone from here to the moon is aware of.

I saw something that the NFL only donates 5% of the pink merchandise sales to the Susan G Komen foundation. Not sure if it's true or not, if it is that is pretty fucking low.
