The introduction of the iPad Mini is starting to make me LOATHE Apple. What a fucking waste. I already think the iPad is useless (in my situation), and this iPad mini is a fucking joke.

So i think I'm getting a nexus 7 after reading some of the upgrades on the ipad.

Anyone got a better option?

These things will sell like hotcakes. Have you seen the average Apple customer? They waste all of their money on gimmick products to show off to their friends who in turn do the same. Apple isn't a technology company; it's a marketing company that sells technology.

I just checked all the prices. $459 for 16gb w/ LTE. :laugh: No thanks.

Love my iPad 2. When my g/f got it for me I was like sleeper and hated apple. Now that I own an iPad it pretty much replaces everything I had before when I'm just looking to kill time.

I had AT&T with my IPad. It stunk donkey balls. Even airport wifi was weak (seems it was mostly location, because it was ok at home - nothing like a laptop, though). Maybe LTE will be better.

It's cool to read or quick (non-posting/non-searching) surfing. Also nice to play music over BT from it and not drain your cell (though it doesn't drain that much).

You can do that on virtually ANY tablet though.

I agree. Just commenting on whether or not people should get wireless service. I think people might be disappointed, though - 2gigs goes really fast if you watch much video. Normal surfing and email 1gig is probably more than sufficient (just make sure to only do updates via wifi).

The other thing that sucked, and presumably LTE would be different, is some sites wouldn't play over 3g! I can't remember, but I don't think I could watch Xfinity over 3g. Or maybe it was HBO GO.
