Regardless of how the game looked. The devils found a way to win. And yesterday was special for more then just a football game.. I lost family members to cancer. And one of my parents. I can care less how they won the game. They won. I'm sure everyone knows if Campbell gets into the first round that things will not look good for a second round. But i remember last year the devils was suppose to be crushed by a superior girard team. Maybe just Maybe this team can rise up for the shocker of the year award. I know its probably not gonna happen. But these kids still got here.

Exactly. We have 3 kids that on the team that lost their mothers to breast cancer before the season. There was so much emotion going on and they rose above it all and got the job done.Devilone;1305416 wrote:I'm sure we can all agree yesterday's game anything but stellar. Once again omemorialhigh weighs in with a negative comment. I'm sure you're all shocked. Congrats to the kids and coaches for another winning season. Whatever happens with the playoffs, most of us enjoyed watching you play this year. Watching the players and the students celebrating together after the game made me remember what high school sports is all about..... the kids. Maybe omemorialhigh misses the Protopapa and Ryan eras. Smh. It's not good enough to have a 4th winning season in a row and possible playoff berth for a 3rd time in the last 4 years.

Anyone close to the program knows that this is not one of the best Campbell teams. But the fact is this is a team on the verge of playing in week 11. I would like to see that happen especially for the seniors.

According to Maxpreps.com, it's Rosecrans 28-14 with about 3 min. left in the third.
