I received a suspension on the old huddle once for an "innapropriate post".

Yeah, inappropriate was spelled wrong and everything. I wasn't sure what I did, so I sent an email asking. Never got a response.

I might very well have done something to deserve a suspension, but without ever clarifying or even responding to me it just seemed kind of arbitrary.

Fair enough!! Lets hope the Mods here dont get so much air blowed up their ass where they believe they have that power too, then!!

Nah, the problems started when the site began to really grow. Everything used to be cordial and joking for the most part, but when word of mouth spread and the site blew up, topics got more heated. JJ's idea of how to handle this was to be a hardass. The first pay-to-post initiative came into play and people started to get banned more often. Topics were banned for short and long periods of time (politics/religion on the T/I board, things like NOL sports on the high school board).

From everything I've heard, the main flaw of the Bucknuts folks (before the $12 thing) was that they gave JJ admin power.....and never put a leash on him. So he followed his list of 25+ site rules and 1M imaginary ones and marched to the beat of his drum.

Whenever he was making such a big deal over the misquoting people kick he was on, I changed his quote to 'I rape small children'.

I don't know why he got so pissed. In ancient Rome everyone did that sort of thing?

This was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen on JJ's. I still look at it every once in awhile and bust out laughing.
