Rittman also has youth numbers in the 50-60 range numbers wise. The Rittman Jr High placed 8 kids out of the 10 kids they took in whatever tournament they competed in Saturday.

Rittmans junior high team wasn't too bad last year. Just young and inexperienced. They will be ok over
There if they get support from the community. It will just take time.

hopefully they do. I'd hate to see another program with some potential get killed off like Dalton due to lack of supportproudguard04;1336235 wrote:Rittmans junior high team wasn't too bad last year. Just young and inexperienced. They will be ok over

One of the youth coaches helps out with the varsity as well and said it was not good... no good at all. They do have a bright spot though. They had a kid win WABC last year. He beat a solid Perry kid in the finals if memory serves me right. I think they may... may... have a chance to beat Smithville at WCAL.
damn Jmar, I wasn't correct on anything?
please finish....still need opinions on the rest of the league.
and Beast or anyone else, feel free to jump in. If this thread doesn't get active, it's going to go the way of Dalton wrestling.

nope... NWern will win. Norwayne and Waynedale in a dog fight for second.... Waynedale will win that though. Chippewa will only beat the others because of the heavyweight and hall. Hillsdale higher than Rittman just due to the fact of Jett and they have 7 more kids who have wrestled more than a year of varsity wrestling.... Smithville... eh... Don't know what to say about them except that they'll have a full team in the next year or so... maybe... if schrock doesn't force them back into the weight room this winter. When this all comes to fruition... I will say I told you so... but the fact is.... this is all moot. World will end in a couple of weeks...Red Rum;1336315 wrote:damn Jmar, I wasn't correct on anything?

On the Dalton situation...
What exactly is going on?....Has Dalton folded the program?...Will Everett & the HWT get to wrestle at the WCAL meet?
The paper says they are practicing with Orrville now, Will they go to the tourneys with the Riders and wrestle as Bulldogs?
So many questions.......and only 11 days till the world ends.
also...congrats to the Bears on a strong showing at Marysville

I spoke with one of the Dalton coaches and if I understood right that this situation is similar to what the sole rittman wrestler experienced. Tag along with Orrville at their events, representing their school. If Orrville has a dual, then they will only be permitted to wrestle exhibition matches. Tournaments are fair game. County is a question I didn't ask...

I better post on this because Beast will lose his reading skills if I don't. The Riders will be at the tri tonight and hope to win 1-3 matches against Da Bears. Does anyone know the schedule as to who wrestles Waynedale first?

I am proud wayndale manned up and wrestled a tough match. Used to reading about them dominating a bunch of weak teams. Wayndale is a great d3 school a middling in d2 about as good as a dover or new Phila wrestling team
